Help spread the gift of rock this holiday season!!!

Future Rockers of Omaha and Free Guitars 4 Kids are teaming up to provide Rock 101 scholarships at the School of Rock Omaha and guitars to local children aged 8-12. But we can’t do it without your support!

We will be accepting applications and donations through December 15, 2024. Selected students will be notified on or before December 23, 2024.

What's included?

• Full tuition to the Rock 101 program from February through the May performance show (dates and times TBD)
• An electric guitar

What do you need?

• Transportation to attend weekly practice and lessons
• Safe place to practice at home
• A passion to learn!

How you can help

• Make a donation! Whether its $5 or a $1,000, every donation helps us keep the future of rock alive
• Apply or nominate a student for the scholarship
• Help spread the word! Even if you aren't able to make a monetary donation, a share on social means more than you can imagine!

Who is eligible?

We are committed to fostering diversity and inclusivity in our Rock 101 program, welcoming students of all backgrounds to apply. Our application process is designed to be straightforward and non-discriminatory, ensuring fair access to education for all eligible students in the Omaha metro area. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need and interest in music. We aim to keep this application as simple as possible by leveraging existing eligibility frameworks. Eligibility of financial need can be verified by providing documentation showing eligibility in one of the following programs:

• Free or reduced lunch program at school
• SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)
• WIC (Women, Infants, and Children)
• Medicaid or CHIP
